The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Dawath P.S. Case No. 18 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case in brief is that an amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- was withdrawn by the petitioner with forged signature of the ward secretary.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is a lady and has committed no offence as alleged in the FIR. The informant Mukhiya and Gram Sevak are behind this case and they have to work for which they have received and if they did not discharge their duty, petitioner cannot be put behind the bar. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66249 of 2021(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/2 Counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner abovenamed on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
