The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No. 127 of 2017 dated 29.11.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Though the name of the petitioner has only transpired in the confession of an arrested accused person who has disclosed that the seized liquor belongs to the petitioner, but the petitioner appears to have been made accused in similar nature of offences in the past. Considering his background, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64028 of 2018(2) dt.13-12-2018 2/2 Prayer for bail is rejected.

The petitioner may approach the court below for grant of regular bail and the court below shall not be prejudiced by the fact that the present petition has not been entertained.
