The petitioner has filed the present writ petition for a direction to the respondents to pay arrears and current salary. The issue of payment of salary requires factual enquiry as to appointment and actual working. The District Programme Officer (Establishment) would be the competent authority to enquire into the matter of validity of appointment and actual working after verificatin of the record. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment) ,

Patna High Court CWJC No.16124 of 2019(2) dt.08-08-2019 2/2 Jamui to verify the record in order to ascertain whether the petitioner was legally and validly appointed and whether the petitioner has actually worked for the period she is claiming salary. On verification if it is found that the appointment of the petitioner is legal and valid and she has actually worked, then the respondents shall ensure payment of salary - arrears as well as current- within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
