ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 15-11-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 16.08.2017 in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not named in the First Information Report, but subsequently, on the basis of confessional statement made before the police by one Rajiv Kumar, the petitioner's name has figured in this case. He further submits that the said Rajiv Kumar has since been extended the privilege of bail in Cr. Misc. No. 28623 of 2017 vide order dated 10.07.2017.

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances and the petitioner's name has surfaced on the basis of extra judicial

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52143 of 2017 (2) dt.15-11-2017 2/2 confession, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Begusarai (Town) P.S. Case No. 579/2016.
