APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL ORDER 03-01-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 506, 504, 429 and 436 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Magadh University P.S. Case No. 05 of 2014.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with having set the house of the informant on fire.

4. Considering that the matter relates to an F.I.R. which was instituted as far back as in the year 2014 and no satisfactory explanation has been forthcoming from the petitioner as to the immediate apprehension of arrest after such long lapse of time, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66757 of 2018(2) dt.03-01-2019 2/2 of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed. The petitioner shall be at liberty to move before the learned court below for grant of regular bail, if so advised.
