Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 341, 323, 308 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection with Kauwakol (Rupau) P.S.Case No. 190 of 2021.

As per the allegation, the petitioner and co-accused Vishnudeo Mahto assaulted Ajit Prasad with iron rod and khanti inflicting grievous injuries on the victim.

No.68346 of 2021(2) dt.26-07-2022 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is case and counter case and on similar footing coaccused Vishnudeo Mahto has been granted regular bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr.Misc. No. 66720 of 2021. In view of grievous injuries suffered by the injured, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below and make a prayer for regular bail.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time as provided hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
