The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per F.I.R., petitioner assaulted informant with lathi causing injury on his wrist and finger of left hand and when mother of informant came to save informant, she was also assaulted with iron rod by the petitioner.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that the scuffle took place between the parties on spur of moment. The injuries, caused by this petitioner, are simple in nature. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
