====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-11-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Manjhi P. S. Case No. 457 of 2021 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per F.I.R., this petitioner along with other accused persons abducted the daughter of informant on pretext of solemnizing her marriage.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is father of co-accused Madhu Kumari against whom there is specific accusation of abduction. Petitioner is simply a victim of over implication. Moreover, victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has not named this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55374 of 2025(3) dt.27-11-2025 2/2 petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 12.06.2025.
5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.
6. Considering statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. and period of custody, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, Saran at Chapra in connection with Manjhi P. S. Case No. 457 of 2021.
