The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bagen Gola P.S. Case No. 39 of 2017 dated 09.06.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant is said to have been waylaid and was divested of his belongings which included Rs. 2000/-, mobile telephone and a motorcycle by three miscreants. The petitioner's name transpired in the confession of a co-accused. The petitioner is said to have been arrested with a stolen motorcycle in another case and he has been remanded in the present case. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in the case in which he was apprehended with the stolen

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48222 of 2017 (5) dt.09-01-2018 motorcycle, he had purchased that motorcycle in good faith of the same not being a stolen property.

The petitioner is in custody since 24.06.2017. For the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Bagen Gola P.S. Case No. 39 of 2017.
