The petitioner seeks bail in Hasanpur P.S. Case No. 63 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. 6399.360 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck and petitioner is alleged to have fled away from the place of recovery.

It is submitted that no recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 15.09.2021. Investigation is complete.

Learned APP however vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent and five cases of similar nature are pending against him.
