This Court would expect that the petitioner's counsel would honour his undertaking in the instant proceedings regarding supply of requisite court fee etc. within two weeks from the date he is called upon to do so by the office. Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sono P.S. Case No. 147 of 2022 registered under Sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Since 22.05.2022 petitioner is stated to be in custody. As per prosecution case, the informant was carrying his cement load when the petitioner has fired upon him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is a false case. Petitioner has not committed any offence.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55771 of 2022(2) dt.11-01-2023 2/2 Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail. It is submitted that the allegation of firing on the informant is corroborated by the medical evidence. The petitioner also has antecedents.

Considering the rival submissions, nature of allegations and antecedent of the petitioner, this Court, for the present, is not inclined to allow petitioner's prayer for bail. The same is rejected.

The application for bail is thus dismissed.
