2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Mahindwara P.S. Case No. 7 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 30(a)/32(ii)(iii)/36/41(i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

3. As per prosecution, the allegation is that total 3508 litres of country made liquor has been recovered from a container and two persons were apprehended from the spot in which he had disclosed the name of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has three criminal antecedents of similar nature.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes prayer for anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of case and three criminal antecedents of similar nature, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) Ranjeet/- U T
