The present Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- ".....for a direction to the Learned Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur (Respondent No. 2) to dispose of Revision No. 88 PDS of 202223 filed on 13.05.2022 at an early date because in terms of Rule 32(vi) of the Bihar Targeted PDS Control Order, 2016 the revision was required to the disposed of within 60 days from the date of its filing."

3. The only prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for disposal of the revision filed by the petitioner as

Patna High Court CWJC No.14926 of 2022(2) dt.11-12-2024 2/2 expeditiously as possible.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has stated that he has no objection if a direction is given to the authority concerned for disposing of the revision filed by the petitioner by fixing a time frame if not already disposed of.

Having regard to the above, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the Divisional Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur (Respondent No. 2) to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. It is needless to observe that before passing any order the petitioner shall be put on notice and given an opportunity of hearing. Any order passed shall be communicated to the parties. In case, the revision is already disposed of, the authority shall communicate the order to the parties.
