The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Rajaun P. S. Case No. 294 of 2018 dated 09.07.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 384 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners are said to have demanded Rs. 1,00,000/- before the informant could have been permitted to plough his field.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the aforesaid allegation has been raised against the petitioners without any rhyme and reason and only for the purposes of feeding fat the old grudge.

The petitioners have clean antecedents and are

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.69309 of 2018(2) dt.19-12-2018 2/2 residents of the same village.

It has further been submitted that it is not expected that the petitioners would demand protection money from a co-villagers.

Regard being had to the facts as also taking into account the clean antecedents of the petitioners, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Rajaun P. S. Case No. 294 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
