JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 15-06-2020 The present petition has been taken up for consideration through the mode of Video conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID 19 Pandemic, requiring social distancing.

The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to make payment of the statutory interest on the G.P.F. amount of Rs. 80,075/- from the day the same became due up to the date of its payment i.e. August, 2018. The learned counsel for the respondent State, referring to paragraph nos. 11 & 12 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf

Patna High Court CWJC No.17541 of 2019(3) dt.15-06-2020 2/2 of the respondent nos. 6 & 7 has submitted that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and the interest up to the date of payment has been calculated and sanctioned, as would be apparent from the authority letter bearing No. FP/679 dated 09.11.2019, which also includes the up to date interest and i.e. why the total sum of G.P.F. with interest has totaled up to Rs. 88,276/-.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be granted liberty to file representation before the respondent no. 7 in case of any surviving grievances.

Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
