2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Baisi P.S. Case No. 269 of 2022 for the offence registered under Sections 272 and 273 of IPC and Sections 30(a), 41 and 47 of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, there is recovery of 427.5 litres of illicit liquor recovered from the pick up vehicle which was without number plate. The petitioner is the owner of the said pick up vehicle.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case being the owner of the pick up vehicle. Further submission is that petitioner has no concern with the seized illicit liquor. He was not present at the place of occurrence. Petitioner has no

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the seized pick up vehicle having no number plate belongs to petitioner. Therefore, petitioner does not deserve the privilege of bail.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submissions of learned counsel for the parties, huge quantity of recovery and the seized pick up van without number plate, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
