The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sikty P.S. Case No. 48/2016 (G.R. No. 737/2016) under Section 47(A) of the Bihar Excise Act.

The police, on secret information, raided the house of the petitioner and 25 bottles, each containing 400 ml of country made liquor, were recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case but it appears that 10 litres of country made liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to
