For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Ramesh Singh For the Respondent/s : Mr. (Sc1) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 14-01-2015 The petitioner has filed this writ petition with a prayer to regularize his services on the post of Sweeper in the Block Development Office, Atri.

2. The petitioner was appointed vide letter no. 2395 dated 15-4-1999 for six months on payment of Rs.300/- per month. The

Patna High Court CWJC No.12381 of 2007 (2) dt.14-01-2015 2 / 2 learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since 1999 the petitioner has been working on the post of Sweeper on temporary basis, but the Government has not regularized his services.

3. From the perusal of order contained in Memo No. 2395 dated 15th April, 1999(Annexure-1) it appears that the petitioner was temporarily appointed on the post of Sweeper for six months, but no subsequent letter has been annexed showing that the service of the petitioner was extended time to time. The post of Sweeper was itself sanctioned only for six months.

4. In this view of the fact, I am of the opinion that the petitioner has got no legal right to be regularized on the post of Sweeper. Accordingly, I do not find any merit in the writ application. This writ application is dismissed. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) B.Roy/- U
