The petitioner is in custody in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No.122 of 2017, a case under Section 366 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner and other named accused persons is of inducement to the daughter of the informant. The victim girl in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. stated that she had solemnized marriage with co-accused Sanjit Sahani. Considering the statement of the victim girl, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below

No.50653 of 2017 (4) dt.01-02-2018 P2/ where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
