IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT PATNA

Miscellaneous Jurisdiction Case No.4088 of 2014 In Civil Writ Jurisdiction Case No. 169 of 2014 ====================================================== Reliance Steel Works, Samastipur .... .... Petitioner/s

Versus

The State of Bihar & Ors .... .... Respondent/s ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAMESH KUMAR DATTA ORAL ORDER 09-11-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The contempt application has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 09.05.2014 under contempt passed in C.W.J.C. No.169 of 2014.

In the said writ application, the direction was given to the District Magistrate-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Saharsa to consider and dispose of the claim of the petitioner within two months and whatever amount was found admissible to the petitioner, the same was to be paid within a further period of two months thereafter; if any part of the claim was rejected, the same had to be done by passing a speaking order. Learned counsel for the State refers to Annexure-D to the supplementary show cause under which an amount of Rs.7,51,189/- has been allotted for payment to the petitioner.

Patna High Court MJC No.4088 of 2014 (2) dt.09-11-2016 It appears that the amount having been allotted, the same would be paid to the petitioner.

As a matter of fact, no reply to the supplementary show cause has been filed by the petitioner challenging the aforesaid contention made on behalf of the opposite parties. The contempt application is, accordingly, dismissed. (Ramesh Kumar Datta, J) V.P.Sinha/- U
