The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is contended that, as per allegation, 970 bottles of foreign liquor (each containing 180 ML.) were recovered from a car which was being boarded by the accused persons including the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 02.09.2017. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.D.J. 6th -cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52853 of 2017(2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 in connection with Chapra Town P. S. Case No. 373/2017. Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in similar nature of case then the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bond.
