The petitioner is in custody since 06.07.2017 in connection with Alamnagar P.S. Case No. 132 of 2017 for the offence registered under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the first information report and that the looted motorcycle was recovered from the pitched road at N.H. - 106 in an abandoned condition. It is further submitted that the name of the petitioner has surfaced on the confessional statement made before the police, which has no evidentiary value. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58910 of 2017 (2) dt.13-12-2017 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Udakishunganj, District Madhepura in connection with Alamnagar P.S. Case No. 132 of 2017.
