The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chhatapur P.S. Case No. 241 of 2015 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149,188, 290, 447, 341, 323, 354, 509, 506, 295, 295A, 296 and 298 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended that though the petitioner is named in the FIR, no specific overt act is attributed against him. From the allegations made in the FIR it would appear that no untoward incident took place on the date of immersion of idol of Goddess Durga. Due to some tense in the locality, the informant has instituted the present case as a protective measure. It is further contended that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He has

Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction learned C.J.M., Supaul in connection with Chhatapur P.S.
