Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Supaul P.S. Case No.452 of 2018, registered under Sections 323, 324, 379, 354(b), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant named the petitioner and alleged that there was a Panchayati for settlement of passage but the petitioners and others could not obey the decisions of the Panches and came having armed with different weapons. They assaulted the informant and others. Petitioner, Mahendra Mandal is said to have assaulted the sister-in-law of the informant and snatched her chain made of gold from her neck. It is submitted that there is land dispute between both sides. From perusal of the FIR itself, it appears that a Panchayati was held for resolution of dispute with regard to

Considering the facts and nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the dispute appears to have taken place on account of land dispute, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Supaul in connection with Supaul P.S.
