2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 126(3), 115(2), 118(1), 74, 117(2), 109, 352, 351(2), 351(3) of B.N.S. and subsequently, Section 103 of B.N.S. was added.

3. As per F.I.R., on 19.01.2024 at 5 AM, the informant went to attend the call of nature, in the meantime, this petitioner came and started molesting her and when informant raised alarm, her father-in-law came for rescue, then this petitioner assaulted on the head of father-in-law of informant with Shabal (made from iron rod), as a result of which, father-in-law of informant died in course of treatment.

4. Considering the nature of accusation, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 19.12.2024, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
