The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maheshkhunt P.S. CaseNo.36 of 2015 corresponding to Sessions Trial No.182 of 2015 registered under sections 399, 400 and 412/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections 25(1-B)(a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the fact that the looted motorcycle, ornaments and a country made pistol were recovered from possession of the petitioner and also looted articles were duly identified by the victim of the dacoity, I am not inclined to grant him bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
