The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 147, 149, 188, 353, 269, 270, 271, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 51 - 60 of National Disaster Management Act and Section 3 of Epidemic Act.

As per the prosecution case, on 14.05.2021 at about 5:30 PM, the informant was on Covid-19 duty and when he reached Paswan Chowk, this petitioner alongwith 24-30 people in number abused the informant, raised slogan against the administration and started pelting stones and thereby damaged police vehicles.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that there is general and omnibus allegation and no specific overt act has been alleged against this petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67064 of 2021(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as nature of allegation, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 329 of 2021, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
