The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Chand P.S. Case No. 70/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 47(a) and 47(e) of Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016. The police raided the house of the petitioner and recovered 60 K.G. of Jawa Mahua which was kept for preparing liquor.

It is submitted that the petitioner is a lady. She has no manner of concern with the Jawa Mahua. The husband of the petitioner has also been made accused in the case. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that 60 K.G. of Jawa Mahua was recovered from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail.
