The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Marhaura PS case no. 337 of 2017 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 188, 120B/34 of Indian Penal Code and 30/38/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 1062 ltrs. of illicit liquor from a tractor and a truck and the petitioner is said to have been made accused on the basis of the information. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the said vehicles and he has got nothing to do with the alleged recovery of the liquor. It is next submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 12.09.2017. In the facts and circumstances of the present case especially on account of the parity of the case of the petitioner to those accused persons who have been granted bail, I deem it fit and appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Addl. Sessions Judge Saran in Marhaura PS case no. 337 of 2017. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) rinkee/- U T
