The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 356 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the charge-sheet came to be submitted under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 12.07.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and has antecedent of two cases.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant alleges that while she was purchasing flower for worship then two criminals came on a motorcycle and snatched her gold chain weighing 15 grams.

No.66201 of 2021(2) dt.12-04-2022 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the F.I.R. was against unknown and the name of this petitioner came in the confessional statement of accused Sanjay Sao. It is further submitted that the petitioner was not put on TIP nor any incriminating article was recovered from his possession. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 12.07.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and his name came in the confessional statement of co-accused, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No. 390 of 2020 with a condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his father Santosh Kumar @ Santosh Yadav.
