The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 420, 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The prosecution case as per F.I.R is that the joint account of the informant and his wife was opened by the petitioner who is an agent in the post office. It is alleged that this petitioner in collusion with the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66520 of 2021(3) dt.22-08-2022 2/3 Postmaster and Counter Clerk has withdrawn Rs. 1,20,000/- from the account of the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that only on suspicion the petitioner has been roped in the present case. The late husband of the petitioner was agent in the post office and all the witnesses are interested witnesses. A supplementary affidavit has been filed to the effect that the informant has received Rs. 1,20,000/- from the petitioner and he has no further grievance from the petitioner which gets reflected from Annexure-2 of the supplementary affidavit.
In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur
