Petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Khutauna P.S. Case No. 78 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 342, 323, 307 and 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the First Information Report, allegation against the petitioner, who is the sister of the mother-in-law of the informant, is that she has assaulted the informant by pressing her neck.

No.74781 of 2018(2) dt.21-12-2018 2/3 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner happens to be the sister of the mother-in-law of the informant and she has nothing to do with the dispute in the family of the informant. Learned counsel further submits that the allegation of assault is against one Vidyanand Mandal which has caused simple injury as per Annexure-2.
No one appears on behalf of the State to oppose this application.
In the given facts and circumstances where it is submitted that the petitioner is the sister of the mother-in-law of the informant and then there is no specific allegation of causing assault against her, in case of arrest or surrender of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today, the abovenamed petitioner shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.15,000/- (rupees fifteen thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfication of the learned A.C.J.M.- IIIrd, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Khutauna P.S. Case No. 78 of 2018, subject to the condition that petitioner shall join the investigation by reporting to the Investigating Officer within a period of three weeks from today and shall cooperate in course of investigation, failing which the Investigating Officer shall be at liberty to take steps for
