The petitioner is in custody since 23.02.2019 in connection with Dumarown P.S. Case No. 65/19 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that alleged recovery of country-made pistol was not from his conscious possession and while the petitioner was taken into custody, he was also remanded in connection with two other cases though he has no connection with the same. It is further submitted that in the first case, as stated in paragraph No. 3, he has been granted bail, but with regard to the second case, the same is pending. He, thus, submits that the petitioner may be extended the privilege of bail.

Case No. 65/19.
