The petitioner is in custody in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No. 223 of 2017, a case under Sections 379/413/414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner was apprehended, while he was fleeing, on suspicion that the petitioner and others were involved in commission of theft. The stolen parts of the vehicle i.e., bumper etc. were recovered from the pickup van from which the petitioner had jumped out and fled away.
Submission is that the petitioner is in custody since 05.09.2017.
Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58235 of 2017 (2) dt.12-12-2017 P2/ above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No. 223 of 2017, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
