The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 201 of 2021 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that petitioner was not arrested on spot. The hut from where the alleged illicit liquor has been recovered does not belong to the petitioner. He is a man of clean antecedent.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66922 of 2021(3) dt.13-05-2022 2/2 event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of the Additional District Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge (Excise Act), Samastipur in connection with Excise Case No. 201 of 2021, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
