====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE DR. ANSHUMAN ORAL ORDER 29-07-2025 Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the Union of India.

2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- (i) For quashing the letter dated 26.07.2019 issued by the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration), Central Reserve Police Force, New Delhi whereby

Patna High Court CWJC No.13042 of 2023(3) dt.29-07-2025 2/3 and whereunder the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Sub Inspector has been rejected.

(ii) For direction to the respondents concerned to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Inspector with all consequential benefits who is working as Assistant Sub Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force and is at present posted at 205 Cobra Battalion, Bihar, Gaya.

iii) For direction to the respondents concerned to consider the representation-cum-appeal filed by the petitioner before the competent authorities dated 10.01.2023 as well as 11.01.2023 for grant of promotion to the petitioner who is working as Assistant Sub Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force and is at present posted at 205 Cobra Battalion, Bihar, Gaya.

(iv) The petitioner further prays for following order/orders, direction /directions, for the following relief/reliefs which he entitled into facts and circumstances of the present case.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the main grievance of the petitioner regarding promotion has been

4. Learned counsel for the Union of India submits that the petitioner may be directed to file a representation before the concerned authority.

5. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation, along with all supporting grounds, before the concerned authority within 30 days from today, and the said authority shall dispose off the same within 60 days thereafter.
