JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 11-09-2015 Heard the Counsels for the petitioner and the State. In view of the agreement at Bar, the writ application is disposed of at this stage. The writ petition seeks a direction commanding the respondent to accept the arrears and up-to-date rent of Khas Mahal Jamabandi No. 470 and 471 comprising Original Plot no. 16 (kha) situated in Mohalla Kadam Kuan, Khas Mahal, Patna.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had regularly remitted the rent to the respondents under receipts. However, in the recent past, practice of collecting rent at the door step had been discontinued. Thereafter, remittance was made through

In substance, the petitioner wants to pay the rent of the Khas Mahal property in his occupation which is being not accepted by the respondents. Precisely with this grievance, the writ application has been filed. Counsel for the State has agreed for disposal of the case by directing the respondent nos. 3 and 4 to accept the rent on being tendered from the petitioner and grant receipt thereof. Let the respondents accept the rent on tender under receipt. The writ petition is disposed of.
