2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Amahara P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased. There is general allegation of demand of dowry and torture against the accused persons including the petitioner. The deceased was taken to hospital after she had consumed poison and there she passed away.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in a dispute between her son and the deceased, the deceased took poison and despite being taken to hospital, she could not survive and she died. The petitioner is in jail since 07.05.2024.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in connection with Amahara P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024.
