2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Arwal Excise P.S. Case No. 224/2023, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) and 32(c) of the Bihar Excise & Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. As per prosecution, 60 litres of illegal wine has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 21.06.2023.

4. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the nature of allegation and also period

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56998 of 2023(2) dt.30-08-2023 2/2 of custody, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge-2, Excise, Jehanabad in connection with Arwal Excise P.S. Case No. 224/2023.
