Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(B)I/22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

From a Bolero vehicle 110 kilograms Ganja was, allegedly, recovered. The petitioner was also travelling on the same vehicle.

Submission of the petitioner is that petitioner had no knowledge of that Ganja. The petitioner is in custody since 05.03.2015 and has got no criminal antecedent which would be evident from the separate report received from the Investigating Officer.

Considering the period already undergone by the

No.48644 of 2016 (4) dt.06-03-2017 2/2 petitioner and the facts of this case, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Ara/successor Court in connection with Trial No. NDPS 02 of 2015 arising out of Koilwar Police Station Case No. 57 of 2015.
