The petitioner is in custody since 21.06.2018 in connection with Barhat P.S. Case No. 5 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 395/397 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's name surfaced in the confessional statement made before the police by co-accused persons who have since been extended the privilege of bail vide orders dated 28.11.2018 and 12.04.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 67703 of 2018 and Cr. Misc. No. 5232 of 2019 respectively. It is further submitted that till date, the petitioner has not been put on T.I. Parade and there is no recovery from him.

Case No. 5 of 2018.
