2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 472, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner, along with other F.I.R. named accused persons, in the name of providing job in railway to the informant, took Rs. 8,50,000/- and thereafter, gave a false joining letter of "Group-C Gate-man".
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. As a matter of fact, the informant himself
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56298 of 2025(2) dt.25-08-2025 2/2 paid the amount to secure government job, which itself is unlawful and he cannot claim to have been cheated. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.
5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he, along with other accused persons, took Rs. 8,50,000/- from the informant in lieu of providing job in the railways and thereafter, gave him a fake joining letter.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and specific and direct nature of accusation, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
