Petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Initially the case was registered against two persons including the driver of the petitioner. The name of the petitioner surfaced during investigation on recovery of the victim when she stated in her 164 Cr.P.C statement that the petitioner ravished her.

The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 30.06.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 16792 of 2014. Now the prayer has been renewed on the ground that informant has retracted from the initial version and filed a petition to that effect before learned Court below.

Accordingly the application is dismissed in connection with Singhbara P.S. Case No. 5 of 2014, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Shageer/- U T
