2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of dowry death and petitioner is the husband of the deceased.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is quite innocent and falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that petitioner has not committed any offence of cruelty. Petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence on the alleged date. Petitioner was in Bangalore to earn his livelihood.

5. Learned counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant opposes the prayer for bail and submitted that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of demand of dowry and soon before her death, she was subjected to cruelty.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that the petitioner is husband of the deceased, who died at her matrimonial house within seven years of marriage under unnatural circumstances, petitioner's prayer for pre-arrest bail is rejected.
