Learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioners, has submitted that it was because of lack of communication between the petitioners and their Counsel that the petitioners could not surrender before the court below within time, in terms of the order of this Court, dated 14.07.2014, passed in Cr. Misc. No.18760 of 2014, in connection with Case No.C-II 239 (Excise) of 2013.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1968 of 2016 (2) dt.18-01-2016 2/2 This application has been filed for modification of the said order, dated 14.07.2014, seeking extension of time granted to the petitioners to surrender before the court below.
In view of the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioners, this application is allowed. The time granted to the petitioners by said order, dated 14.07.2014, stands extended by one week from today.
