The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/ writs, order/ orders, direction/ directions commanding the concerned respondents to make immediate and appropriate enquiry into financial embezzlement of huge government funds committed by the Respondent No.-9, against whom preliminary enquiries were made on the efforts and initiatives of the petitioner and the matter was sent to the Economic
Patna High Court CWJC No.12491 of 2024(2) dt.27-08-2024 2/2 Offence Unit, Govt. of Bihar, Patna but thereafter nothing was done nor even any closure report was submitted by any concerned Respondent and the Respondent No.-9 was allowed to escape till date from the process of law. (ii) For issuance of a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/ writs, order/ orders, direction/ directions commanding the concerned respondents to ensure speedy and effective enquiry in the matter of the aforesaid financial embezzlement done by Respondent No.-9 and further legal actions against him and also for issuance of appropriate order/ orders, direction/ directions commanding the concerned Respondents to fix accountability on the guilty respondent(s) officials due to whom such enquiry could not be done till date against Respondent No.-9 for the aforesaid financial embezzlement."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
