Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed the present writ petition with limited relief that the statutory appeal of the petitioner dated 14.07.2023 is pending before the Chief Secretary, Health Department, Bihar, Patna since 14.07.2023 being aggrieved from the order dated 30.08.2018 passed by the Director-in-Chief (Administration), Health Services, Government of Bihar, Patna (respondent no. 2) contained in memo no. 1021(4) dated 30.08.2018.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a direction may be given to the Chief Secretary, Health Department, Bihar, Patna to pass order on appeal pending before him.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that appropriate order may be passed.

5. It is the unfortunate affair of the State of Bihar that official at the Principal Secretary level sat on the matter of appeal since long. The Chief Secretary, Health Department, Bihar, Patna is directed to pass order within thirty days from the date of production of a copy of this order otherwise he will be in contempt.

6. Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
