JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 20-12-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. 1955C of 2015 instituted for the offence under Sections-498A, 379, 494 & other minor Sections of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Earlier prayed for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this court vide order dated 13-07-2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 4498 of 2017.

A report has been called for from the court below, from which, it appears that the case is fixed for evidence. The court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and make all efforts to dispose of the same as early as possible preferably, within a period of six months from the date of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53669 of 2017 (3) dt.20-12-2017 receipt/production of copy of order.

The court below will give short adjournments in the case and if possible, the court below will take the trial on day-to-day basis. Counsel for the complainant is directed to produce the witnesses in the court below on each and every date fixed for evidence and in the event, the witnesses are not produced by the complainant, the court below will pass appropriate order in accordance with law. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage with direction made above.
