The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Buxar (T) P.S. Case No. 360 of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 472, 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
A cheque of Rs. 60,00,000/- alleged to be issued by Bank of Baroda, Belchhi, Bihar bearing A/C No. 49040100000920 was presented in ICICI Bank Ltd. Buxar Branch, P.P. Road, Buxar which after verification was found forged one and that cheque was to be credited in the account of the petitioner in ICICI Bank. No.4085 of 2016 (3) dt.18-03-2016 2/2 been caused to any one, the petitioner has not made signature upon depositing slip of cheque, he is the student of B.A. Part II, having no criminal background, after 10 days the First Information Report has been lodged and without any fault the petitioner is suffering in custody since 18.12.2015, to which the learned A.P.P. seriously opposes by submitting that the petitioner has opened the account in ICICI Bank and tried to encash the amount of Rs. 60,00,000/- on the basis of forged cheque.
In the facts and circumstances stated above, at this stage, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and accordingly, such prayer stands rejected. (Jitendra Mohan Sharma, J) sushma/- U T
