The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of her arrest in connection with Parwalpur P.S. Case No. 48 of 2020 dated 04.03.2020 instituted for the offences under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is the married sister-in-law of the informant. She has been made accused in this case only for putting pressure on the husband of the informant to anyhow succumb to her desires.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that her husband is a doctor and she herself is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66442 of 2021(2) dt.22-01-2022 2/2 employed with the Government. She hardly finds time to go to her parents' house. The accusation against her is absolutely general and omnibus.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that perhaps for some personal reasons, the informant could not carry on good relations with her husband but has chosen to implicate the other family members of the petitioners also in this case. Regard being had to the aforestated facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on her furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Parwalpur P.S. Case No. 48 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
